Darren has been referred to in the industry as ‘rock and roll’  due to his previous global event experience which has seen  him tour with the likes of Whitney Houston, The Cure, Tina  Turner, and Elton John, but his experience is far more  diverse than just ‘rock and roll’. His reputation is well known  not only in the Middle East but also in the worldwide events  industry. He brings a wealth of invaluable experience and  respect with his excess of 30 years of working across the  world.

Starting straight out of school Darren has a vast amount of  experience and knowledge gained from his time in the  industry in varying roles. From studio shows such as TFI  Friday and CDUK to large Corporate events such as the  Beijing Olympics and various car launches, he has also been  involved in many large live TV events such as MTV EMA’s  and Brit Awards in between his concert touring. Over the  past 12 years, since relocating to the Middle East Darren’s  energy and experience took Eclipse staging services from a  struggling family run business to one of the leading technical  supply companies in the region in his role as General  Manager and he has for the last 6 years built SNAP to be one  of the most respected suppliers working to the very high  standards which he adheres too. During this time he was  involved in a variety of projects such as Qasr Al Hosn, Burj  Khalifa NYE, Atlantis Launch, Eclipse, and Baku F1 after  race concerts, Clusters of Light, DXB Live, MEFCC Comic  Con and multiple live music shows, brand activations and  corporate events, SNAP.


Martine has been with SNAP since its formation starting  out as a Production Co-ordinator and moving on to  becoming the Operations manager. She has been an  essential part of the team during the growth of the  company over the past 6 years. As well as her Operation  manager role Martine has acted as Production Co-  ordinator on large scale events including Redfest DXB,  Blended and Eric Clapton at Media City Amphitheatre  along with roles on J-Lo/Dubai World Cup and DXBNYE  concerts at Meydan.

Martine has also been involved with various conferences  and trade shows/exhibitions such as Arab Health and  Comicon, both of which took place at the Dubai World  Trade Centre and has even turned her hand at video for  corporate events. In her capacity as Operations manager  she looks after the team on a day to day basis along with  dealing with clients and their requirements whenever  necessary.

David has over ten years’ experience working in Event  Management in the GCC, working with premium  Production Agencies and End Clients. Moving to Dubai  in 2009 at the age of 22, David worked his way  up through Bespoke Set manufacturer - IBS Stage Sets.

Project managing a wide range of Events and    Exhibitions, creating and providing one stop shop  solutions to client’s needs. Project activities included:  Award Ceremonies, Live events, Product launches,  Bespoke Decor and Large-Scale Government events. In  2018 it was time for a change, and David joined the ever-  growing team at SNAP. Continuing the role as Project  Manager, now specialising in AV equipment rental,  onsite installation, maintenance and staffing  management. Connecting with high level executives,  Government officials, Production Agencies, Suppliers and  Event attendees.


Rupert’s career began aged 19 at Laser Creations over 25 years ago. He has extensive knowledge and experience in laser programming, onsite operation of lasers, and has toured the world on various large-scale productions. He spent a 5-year period at Arcstream AV based in London, installing and programming interactive wall and floor systems, as well as developing high-end multitouch solutions and content.

 Rupert has worked on several World Expos, including South Korea, Milan and Shanghai, being tasked with the position as Technical Manager for Pavilions such as Oman and Qatar. He has worked with some of the world’s biggest bands and artists including The Spice Girls, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, David Guetta and The Chemical Brothers.

 Joining the SNAP family 2 years ago, Rupert took on the role of Head of Creative, bringing a wealth of experience and fresh ideas to the Production Team. He recently designed a bespoke stage set and technical layout for the Zero Gravity NYE 2019 Beach Party and has produced content for playback on Burj Khalifa. His creativity is reflected in design - Rupert is incredibly proficient on AutoCAD, WYSIWYG, 3D Studio Max, as well as comprehensive knowledge of 3-D mapping, and creating custom made content for large scale events.
